How one payment moves

Follow one real payment, from the ask to the receipt.

Oct 8, 2026. Base Sepolia, a test network. Test USDC. No real money.

  1. The agent asks.

An AI agent asks to pay Acme Supplies 7.50 USDC. It asks through MCP.

  2. The rules answer.

The answer: ask a person. 7.50 is over the agent's own limit of 1.00 USDC. And it has never paid Acme before. The payment is now locked: 7.50 USDC, to Acme's address. A person has 15 minutes to say yes.

  3. A person says yes.

    J. Tan approves it at 22:40:26 UTC. The yes is a signature from J. Tan's wallet, confirmed with a passkey. It covers this one payment only.

  4. The undo window.

For 10 seconds, J. Tan can take it back. Nothing moves. The window closed at 22:40:36 UTC.

  5. Sent once.

    J. Tan's wallet sends the payment once. Onbehalf recorded it at 22:41:58 UTC.

  6. Sealed.

Onbehalf signs the receipt. It says "sent, not final yet." A signed receipt never changes.

  7. Final.

Onbehalf watches the chain. It recorded the payment final at 22:58:45 UTC. We keep that record separately, so the receipt stays exactly as signed.

  8. Check it yourself.

Drop the receipt on Verify. It reads Valid. Change 7.50 to 7.52, and it reads Not valid. BaseScan shows the same payment.

J. Tan is a demo approver in a test workspace, not a real person or customer.
